Himachal Pradesh CM Alleges 6 Congress MLAs Taken To Haryana
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday slammed the BJP stating that the saffron fronts has "taken away" a few 6 Congress MLs with help of CRPF and Haryana Police.
The political uproar took place amid the reports of cross-voting by 6 Congress MLAs during the Rajya Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh.
Despite possessing a clear majority with 40 out of the 68 MLAs and the backing of three independent MLAs, the Congress is facing a close contest for the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Himachal Pradesh, with the BJP candidate.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu accused the BJP of "exerting pressure" on individuals.
"Counting for the Rajya Sabha polls is taking place and the way the BJP leaders are threatening the counting officers is not good for democracy. They have stopped counting for a long time. I will request BJP leaders to remain patient and not put pressure on people," CM Sukhu said in Hindi.
The way 5-6 MLAs have been taken by a convoy of the Haryana Police and the CRPF... The MLAs' families are trying to get in touch with them and the legislators should contact them. There is no need to worry. There is a government and an opposition in a democracy but the kind of hooliganism (gundagardi) being done by the opposition will never be accepted by the people of Himachal," CM added.
