High-profile prostitution racket busted in Goa; Hindi-Telugu actress caught

Panaji, June 3: Goa Police exposed a high-profile prostitution racket in Panaji. The cops raided five-star hotel in the city where the prostitution racket was busted on Tuesday, June 2.

The cops were shocked when they caught an actress who reportedly had acted in Hindi and Telugu movies. The actress, whose identity has not been disclosed yet, has been lodged in a remand home.

According to sources, the actress was found in one of the rooms of the five-star hotel. She, however, claimed that she was misguided by one woman who brought her to Goa on Tuesday morning.

The 30-year-old woman has been identified as Ayesha Sayyad who used to work as a pimp. Inspector Siddhanth Shirodkar informed that Sayyad along with the actress arrived from Mumbai by a flight on Tuesday morning.

The inspector was also quoted as saying, "The lady who has been arrested operated from various five-star hotels in the state. The police had sent a decoy customer to trap her and rescue the victim."

Another person, who too was involved in the high-profile prostitution racket, managed to escape from the hotel when Goa Police went to conduct the raid.
