Heroin worth Rs 110 crore seized in Punjab

Amritsar, Sep 18: Indian Customs and BSF, in a joint operation, today seized 22 kg of heroin worth Rs 110 crore in the international market which was smuggled from Pakistan into the country.

Officials said the search operation was launched this morning after the BSF observed some suspicious movements last night at the International Border, officials said. It led to the seizure of 22 kg heroin, they said.

Nobody has so far been arrested in this connection, they added.
