    New Delhi, Aug 15: As India celebrates its 72nd Independence Day on August 15, thousands of Indians across the world proudly celebrated this day with the tricolour fluttering high and the national anthem reverberating at Indian missions abroad. In India, today's events started with Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisting the Tricolour, followed by his address to the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort in Delhi.
