Here’s how AAP celebrated its crucial win in Bawana bypoll
The Aam Aadmi Party swept the Bawana bypoll by a massive margin of over 24000 votes, leaving both BJP and Congress in second and third position respectively.
This victory comes as a huge relief after its poor performance in the Delhi civic polls in March this year, which was won by BJP.
This victory is even sweeter to AAP as it defeated Ved Prakash who joined BJP before the civic polls, post which AAP fielded Ram Chandra, who won.
Oneindia spoke to a few supporters and they said, "This is a slap on the face of the ones who won polls by corruption, and a bigger slap on the face of Ved Prakash,"
They also said that the AAP is celebrating the fruit of its honesty and hard work.
Huge celebration took place in front of Delhi CM and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal's residence.
Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP Spokesperson, said, "Bawana MCD elections, Old EVMs without VVPAT, AAP lost 5 out of 6 wards. Bawana Bye-Polls with VVPAT paper slips ,AAP wins by 24k votes,"
Here are the pictures from AAP's celebration after the win in front of Arvind Kejriwal's house.
