Hemant Soren's Wife Kalpana Soren Meets Sunita Kejriwal Ahead Of INDIA Bloc's Rally

To attend the Opposition INDIA Bloc's mega joint rally at Delhi's Ramleela Maidan, Kalpana Soren, wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren arrived in the national capital today. She was welcomed at the Delhi airport by several prominent leaders, after which, she went to see Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal.

Talking to the media, Kalpana Soren said she can feel what Sunit Kejriwal must be going through. Whatever is happening in Delhi, happened in Jharkhand two months ago. "I have come here to share Sunita's grief," Hemant Soren's wife said.

"We will fight this together and I will also meet Sonia Gandhi later today," Kalpana said.

According to the reports, Kalpana Soren is also likely to meet former Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi ahead of the INDIA bloc's rally.

It is expected that more than 20,000 people will attend the Oppositions rally, which will be attended by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena (UBT), Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Derek O'Brien of the TMC, Tiruchi Siva of the DMK, Farooq Abdullah of the NC, and Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren.

A day ago, after Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal's custody was extended till April 2, Sunita Kejriwal held the reigns of the campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and launched a WhatsApp campaign, 'Kejriwal ko Aashirwad', asking people to share their prayers and messages for their own Chief Minister. She is also expected to be on the stage with other INDIA bloc leaders on March 31.
