Hema Malini's driver arrested after accident in Dausa

New Delhi, July 3: Bollywood actor and BJP MP Hema Malini's driver was arrested on Friday morning after the actress met with an accident on Thursday evening in Jaipur.

A five-year-old was killed and two others were injured when Malini's Mercedes rammed into an Alto on Thursday night.

An FIR was filed against the driver by the victim following which he was arrested. The driver was arrested for over speeding and negligent driving.

Malini sustained injuries on her forehead, cheeks and legs. She was admitted to Fortis hospital in Jaipur. Her daughter, Esha Deol arrived at the hospital on Friday morning.

Doctors at Fortis hospital are expected to address a press conference today to give an update on Malini's health.
