Hema Malini bats for expediting divorce cases
New Delhi, May 10: BJP member Hema Malini on Tuesday, May 10 made a strong pitch in the Lok Sabha for courts deciding divorce cases expeditiously.
Raising the issue during zero hour, she said that early decision by courts would allow married girls to have a fresh start.
She was of the view that once bitterness sets in irreversibly, an early divorce would help couples while delay by courts would be counterproductive.
