Help End The War: President Zelensky Reaches Out To PM Modi With Peace Plan

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a peace plan to end the war with Russia on the sidelines of the 6-7 Summit that was held in Hiroshima.

PM Modi had met with President Zelensky on May 21.

During the meeting, Zelensky made no demands except for asking for support for his peace proposal as he felt that many nations look up to the largest democracy in the world. The proposal is currently under consideration.

PM Modi returned this morning from his three-nation tour. During his visit to Australia, there was a break-through in bilateral relations. Following his hectic tour, PM Modi on his arrival addressed party workers and said that he believes in even caring for his enemies. Later today, the PM will flag off the Vande Bharat Express for Dehradun from New Delhi.

PM Modi has held several rounds of talks with Australia. This time the breakthrough was relevant with Australia willing to supply lithium to India for its electric car batteries. Officials said that India and Australia were able to expand its footprint in the Indo-Pacific and also the foundation for comprehensive bilateral ties were laid.

During his visit to Papua New Guinea, PM Modi was taken aback by the gesture of PM James Marape at the Jackson Airport. PM Marape had shown utmost respect to PM Modi during the visit.

At the G-7 Summit, US President Joe Biden is understood to have asked the PM about the secret behind his long innings in Indian politics.
