Heavyweights in DMK in the lead
Chennai, May 19: Senior DMK leaders including former chief minister M. Karunanidhi, his son M.K. Stalin, E. Velu and Duraimurugan led in their assembly constituencies on Thursday (May 19).
Karunanidhi contested from Tiruvarur and Stalin from Kolathur seat. Velu and Duraimurugan were candidates in Thiruvannamalai and Katpadi.
Other DMK leaders in the lead are K.N. Nehru (Trichy), M.R.K. Panneerselvam (Kurinjipadi) and K. Ponmudy (Tirukovilur).
