Police Rescue Following Distress Video

Upon noticing the video online, Agra Police quickly traced his location and responded around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. When they arrived at his rented room in Sati Nagar Naraich, there was no response from inside. Officers Durgashankar and Manoj Kumar then broke down the door, finding the man in visible distress. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is now receiving treatment and has shown signs of recovery.

The Impact of Heartbreak

According to the Trans Yamuna Police Station, the man had been preparing for competitive exams while living alone in Agra, away from his hometown. The recent breakup left him feeling depressed, leading to this drastic action.

Growing Concerns Around Mental Health

This incident is one of several recent cases highlighting the mental health struggles some individuals face after relationship issues. Just last month, on October 18, a young woman from Kanpur was rescued by Lucknow police after she ingested poison near Vikramaditya Marg. She had previously filed an FIR accusing a PAC constable of sexual assault.

Police Intervention and Public Awareness

Authorities are urging citizens to seek help during times of emotional distress and to lean on friends, family, or mental health professionals. They continue to highlight the importance of reaching out before resorting to self-harm and emphasize the need for better public awareness around mental health resources.
