HC notice on plea to restrain ACB chief
New Delhi, June 29: The Delhi High Court on Monday issued notice to the central government on a plea seeking to restrain Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief Mukesh Kumar Meena from interfering in the activities of the anti-corruption department.
But Justice V.P. Vaish refused to pass an interim order on the Delhi government's plea seeking to restrain Meena from entering the premises of the ACB.

The court sought a response from the central government by August 11 and asked Meena to "act in accordance with law".
Meena was appointed the ACB chief by Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung on June 8, superseding ACB chief S.S. Yadav.
Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party government has objected to Menna's appointment.
