HC judge withdraws himself from PIL against Godse website
Mumbai, Nov 18: A Bombay High Court judge today recused himself from the hearing on a public interest litigation regarding a website which allegedly glorifies Nathuram Godse, Mahatma Gandhi's assassin.
"Not before me," said Justice V M Kanade when the PIL came up before the division bench comprising him and Justice Revati Mohite-Dere.

Ketan Tirodkar, the petitioner, said he would refer the petition to acting Chief Justice Vijaya Kapse-Tahilramani who may assign a new bench.
Tirodkar, a former journalist, has sought registration of a criminal case under section 121 of IPC (waging war against the nation) against the people behind the website because it glorifies Godse.
Tirodkar had sent a complaint by e-mail to Mumbai and Pune police but no case was registered, the PIL says.
