Having run out of issues, Rahul is using JNU row: BJP

Surat, Mar 12: BJP Vice-President Om Mathur has said that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was using the JNU controversy after having run out of other issues against the NDA government at the Centre.

"These people do not have any issues against us, so they are taking up such issues. People will give appropriate reply to them," Mathur said when asked by reporters about Rahul's visit to JNU after the row over alleged shouting of anti-national slogans in the prestigious university's campus.

Mathur, who was on Gujarat's visit yesterday, said "the family which ruled (the country) for 60 years had not expected that they will be thrown in dustbin (in elections)."
