Haryana's Housing Scheme Draws Success With Online Plot Allocation

The Haryana government's Mukhya Mantri Shahari Awas Yojana successfully held an online plot draw, moving closer to housing for all. Allotments announced for June 26.

Under the Mukhya Mantri Shahari Awas Yojana, the Haryana government aims to provide housing for all. On Monday, an online draw of plots was held at Government Nehru PG College. Beneficiaries attended the event. Officers conducted the draw transparently through a portal launched by headquarters. Plot numbers were determined, and allotment letters will be issued on 26th June.

Deputy Commissioner Captain Shakti Singh said this scheme will help needy citizens own a house. The online draw was held for eligible beneficiaries. He mentioned that the scheme was inspired by the positive effects of the Prime Minister Awas Yojana. In the first phase, 851 applications were received in the district.

A committee was formed for the online draw process. SDM Badli Satish Yadav was appointed as the chairperson. DMC Parvesh Kadian also attended the event. Beneficiaries were present during the online draw and watched it on a big screen.

SDM Satish Yadav said that the draw process for 1-1 marla plots in sectors 6 and 9 was completed for the beneficiaries. Allotment letters will be given to all beneficiaries on 26th June.
