Haryana Horror: What a killer father can do to save family 'Honour'

Rohtak, Sept 20: Days after killing his daughter and her friend, a man in

". The man has been identified as Billu who currently has been lodged in jail. Billu along with his other family members allegedly lynched his daughter Nidhi Barak and beheaded her boyfriend.

Haryana Police arrested Billu who recently was quoted as saying, "I have no regrets. I'll do it again if I have to." 20-year-old Nidhi (a student of fine arts) fell in love with 23-year-old Dharmendra Barak who was doing a technical course and eloped to Delhi to get married. They reportedly did not have any other option as both their families in Gharnavati village of Rohtak were against the relationship.

However, the couple had returned to their village after being convinced by Nidhi's family that they would accept their relationship. But fate was having something horrible in store for the young couple.

Hours of torture and inhuman behaviour began soon after they reached their village. The girl was beaten up by her family members in public and the boy was brutally beaten for hours and his arms and legs broken, before being beheaded. His body was then dumped at a public place in the village.

Later other villagers alerted police who found Nidhi's family members cremating her body. The cops arrested all accused and sent Nidhi's half-burnt body for postmortem.
