Haryana: Man's Email To Cops About Missing Daughter Leads To Discovery Of Her Body Buried by His Wife

In a shocking case from Faridabad, Haryana, a 17-year-old girl named Parveena was found buried in her own home.

The grim discovery came to light on Sunday after the girl's father, Tahir, who lives in Saudi Arabia, lodged a complaint about his missing daughter.

Acting on his information, police conducted a search of the house, leading to the exhumation of Parveena's body. The remains have been sent for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.

The girl's mother, Anitha Begum, has been taken into police custody. She denies killing her daughter, claiming that Parveena died by suicide.

"I did not kill her. She had affairs and used to run away. We had locked her up. And we slept. She died by suicide. Fearing a bad name, we buried her in the house. It was a big mistake, I admit it," said Anita Begum," said Anitha.

However, Anitha admitted to burying her daughter's body with the help of two others, explaining that she feared the news of the suicide would tarnish the family's reputation.

Tahir, the father, emailed the police on June 7 to report his daughter missing. Authorities revealed that Tahir and his wife were not on good terms. The case is under investigation, and further details will emerge as the cops delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding Parveena's death.
