Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved an increase in financial assistance to Gurukul and Sanskrit Pathshala. A government spokesperson shared that the aid will be based on the number of students in each institution. This decision aims to support these traditional educational centres.
Gurukul and Sanskrit Pathshala with 50 to 80 students will receive Rs 2 lakh per year from the state government. Institutions with 80 to 100 students will get Rs 3 lakh annually. If the number of students is between 100 and 200, they will receive Rs 5 lakh per year.

For institutions with more than 200 students, the financial assistance will be Rs 7 lakh per year. This support is expected to help maintain and improve the quality of education in these traditional schools.
