Haryana govt announces hike in DA for employees

Chandigarh, Apr 20: Haryana government has decided to enhance the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees on revised scales of pay from the existing rate of 119 per cent to 125 per cent of the pay with effect from January 1.

The installment of DA shall be paid in cash to all Haryana government employees with the salary for April to be paid in May, an official spokesman said here today.

The payment of arrears of enhanced DA from January to March will be made in May.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the Finance Department here today.
