Haryana Government Rolls Out Financial Aid Schemes For Public Welfare

The Haryana government is implementing various schemes to benefit the public. Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Kanwar Pal, distributed certificates worth crores to 4215 beneficiaries of the Social Security Pension Distribution Scheme, 512 beneficiaries of Dr. BR Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana, and 451 beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Yojana Labh Vitran Scheme.

Minister Kanwar Pal attended a district-level programme in Yamunanagar as the Chief Guest on Sunday.

Financial Aids Distributed in Haryana

During this event, benefits from the Social Security Pension, Dr. BR Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Yojana were distributed to the beneficiaries. Ghanshyam Dass Arora, MLA of Yamunanagar, was the Special Guest at this occasion.

Minister Kanwar Pal highlighted that both state and central governments are striving to integrate the poor, exploited, deprived, and suffering people into the mainstream. He mentioned that numerous schemes are being run by the government for the welfare of poor families, providing direct benefits to them.

Under the Social Security Pension scheme, around 4215 beneficiaries received benefits. This includes 3549 beneficiaries of Old Age Samman Allowance, 106 Disability Pension recipients, 298 Destitute and Widow Samman Allowance beneficiaries, and 262 Unmarried and Widowed individuals. Each beneficiary received 3000 rupees in their accounts.

The Minister stated that under the Dr. BR Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojana, 512 people benefited from a total of 4 crore 10 lakh rupees in the year 2023-24. Additionally, today, 80-80 thousand rupees were transferred to the accounts of 25 new beneficiaries under this scheme.

Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Yojana Labh Vitran Scheme

Kanwar Pal also mentioned that under the Mukhyamantri Grameen Awas Yojana Labh Vitran Scheme, authority letters worth one lakh rupees each were distributed to 451 beneficiaries. In total, an amount of 20 crore rupees was sent to the beneficiaries' accounts during today's district-level programme.

The Minister emphasised that these initiatives are part of a broader effort by both state and central governments to uplift poor families by providing them with direct financial assistance through various schemes.

These efforts reflect a commitment to ensuring that benefits reach those who need them most, helping to bring about positive changes in their lives.
