Haryana Government Approves Basic Facilities For 91 More Colonies
The Haryana government has regularised 91 colonies in Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat, and Mahendragarh, providing over 2 lakh owners with essential services.
The Haryana government has approved 91 more irregular colonies in four cities. These colonies will now get basic facilities like electricity, water, and roads. The cities include Palwal with 44 colonies, Panchkula with 21, Panipat with 14, and Mahendragarh with 12.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban and Planning Department, Ankur Gupta, has issued orders to validate these colonies. This means that residents will now have access to essential services. Previously, 741 rejected colonies in urban areas were regularised.
With this new approval, the total number of regular colonies is now 832. This change benefits over 2 lakh property owners who can now sell their properties. The government aims to regularise the remaining 342 irregular colonies by 30th June.
