Haryana Election 2024 LIVE: Voting Concludes In Haryana Assembly Elections

Haryana Election 2024 Live Updates and Latest News: Polling for 90 Assembly seats in Haryana took place on Saturday amid tight security, with 9.53 poll percentage being recorded in the first two hours. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker were among the early voters.

Top leaders in the fray were CM Saini, Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Vinesh Phogat, and JJP's Dushyant Chautala. In all, 1,027 candidates contested the election. The Congress is hoping to return to power after 10 years by dethroning the BJP. The voting, which began at 7 am, concluded at 6 pm, while the counting of votes will be taken up on October 8.

Haryana Election 2024 Live  Voting To Begin At 8 am For 90 Constituencies

According to the Election Commission data, an overall poll percentage of 61% voting was recorded till 5 PM. Gurgaon registered the lowest voter turnout.

The voting for Haryana Assembly election has concluded. The results are expected on October 8.
