Salwara was seen carrying the briefcase of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh after the conviction.

According to the information, Salwara is a close relative of dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

Earlier, The Haryana Home Department suspended DCP Ashok Kumar allegedly for failing to get prohibitory orders under Section 144 effectively implemented in Panchkula.

Everyone was baffled as to how so many people turned up at Panchkula. It may have been a result of a clerical error made by the DCP. In the order ahead of the court verdict the DCP did not speak about the assembly of persons. It only said that people are barred from carrying weapons.

During the period of suspension, he will report to the office of DGP, Haryana, Panchkula, the order said.
