Haryana CM to participate in CII event

Chandigarh, Sept 7: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will participate in the inaugural event of the 'CII Invest North 2015 Summit' to be organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi on September 10 and 11.

Disclosing this here on Monday, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister will also participate in the Haryana state session to be organized on this occasion.

The inaugural session on September 10, would also be attended by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman.

Besides, Chief Ministers of all the northern states have been invited for the event. The spokesman said that Haryana has been participating in the event since its inception as a partner state.

He said that with the launch of the new 'Enterprises Promotion Policy 2015', the event would accord an opportunity to showcase the various initiatives which have been proposed under the new policy.

Besides, the event would also provide a platform for marketing or build up support for 'Happening Haryana', the mega event proposed by the government to be organized next year, the spokesman added.
