Khattar's convoy kills pedestrian, injured 2 cops

Karnal, March 3: A police vehicle belonging to the convoy of Haryana chief minister M L Khattar ran over a pedestrian on the national highway near Karnal on his journey from Chandigarh to the national capital. The incident took place last night.

Two policemen, the driver of the car and the pedestrian were severly injured, following which they were taken to a trauma center in Karnal. This is where the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, CM ML Khattar said that an FIR has been lodged against the driver and Rs 5 lakh has will be given as compensation for the family of the victim.
