Haryana BJP Manifesto 2024: Jobs For Agniveers, ₹2,100 For Women Every Month
BJP National President JP Nadda announced the party's manifesto for the Haryana Assembly elections on Thursday. The "Sankalp Patra" promises key initiatives such as a monthly ₹2,100 for women under the Laado Laxmi Scheme and guaranteed jobs for Agniveers from the state.
Nadda criticised the Congress party, said, "For Congress, this manifesto is merely a formality, a ritual to mislead the public. Remember the image of Haryana 10 years ago? Jobs were secured through 'Kharchi' and 'Parchi,' and land scams were rampant. Our 'Sankalp Patra' is a commitment. We are dedicated to serving Haryana tirelessly."

Key promises in the manifesto include:
- ₹2,100 per month for women under the Laado Laxmi Yojna
- 2 lakh government jobs for the youth
- Guaranteed government jobs for every Agniveer from Haryana
- Cooking gas cylinders at ₹500 under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojna
- Development of 10 industrial cities modeled after Industrial Model Township Kharkhoda
- Scholarships for SC and OBC students in government medical and engineering colleges
- Procurement of 24 crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP)
- 5 lakh houses in both urban and rural areas
- Free medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh under the Chirayu Haryana Scheme
- Free dialysis and diagnostic services at government hospitals
- Olympic game nurseries in all districts
- Two-wheelers for college-going female students
- Construction of railway corridors and introduction of new Vande Bharat trains
Nadda highlighted the transformation under BJP rule: "Haryana has changed. In 2014, per capita income was ₹1.37 lakh, and today it has increased to ₹3 lakh. Exports have risen from ₹68,000 crore to ₹2.5 lakh crore."
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli also attended the event. The elections, set for October 5, will have 1,031 candidates contesting across 90 assembly seats, with results expected on October 8.
