Haryana Approves Infrastructure, Education Projects Worth ₹825 Crore
Haryana's recent meeting led by CM Nayab Singh Saini approves projects worth ₹825 crore, focusing on infrastructure, education, and healthcare development.
In a recent meeting chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the 'High Powered Works Purchase Committee' approved projects worth approximately ₹825 crore.
The meeting saw the presence of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Kanwar Pal, Industry and Commerce Minister Mulchand Sharma, Electricity Minister Ranjit Singh, and Development and Panchayat Minister Mahipal Dhanda.

One of the significant approvals was for the construction of 96 houses for police personnel in Ambala, costing around ₹19 crore. Additionally, ₹9.47 crore was sanctioned for construction works at the Regional Research Station of Maharana Pratap Horticulture University in Kharkdari village, Bhiwani district.
In Karnal, Maharana Pratap Horticulture University received approval for projects worth ₹358 crore. The Electricity Department secured ₹111 crore to replace high-capacity current conductors. Faridabad's Dhouj village will see a sewage pipeline installation costing ₹19.32 crore.
Kaithal district's Dhand village will benefit from a water supply capacity upgrade worth ₹28.60 crore. Rewari district will have a two-lane ROB constructed on the Sadalpur railway line for ₹23 crore. Panipat district's Panipat-Dahar road will be expanded to four lanes with an investment of ₹15.80 crore.
The Chief Minister also approved several educational projects: a government women's college in Ladana Chaku village, Kaithal district, costing ₹14.30 crore; a new building for a government college in Rajound at ₹13.60 crore; and another government women's college in Data village, Hisar district, for ₹17 crore.
Kurukshetra's LNJP Hospital campus will see the construction of a 100-bed additional hospital with an allocation of ₹32 crore. Palwal Hasanpur road will be strengthened with ₹12.15 crore, while Fatehabad district's Jakhal-Dharsool-Bhuana-Pabada-Sarsaud road will be widened and strengthened with ₹21.11 crore.
Road and River Projects
Kurukshetra district will receive ₹16.40 crore for improvements to the Saharanpur-Kurukshetra road and other works. Asandh-Rajound-Kaithal-Patiala road will undergo special repairs costing ₹16.60 crore. Tosham-Bahl-Sudhiwas road will be strengthened with an investment of ₹12.50 crore.
The Hansi-Umra-Sultanpur-Kanwari road will receive special repairs worth ₹13.75 crore, while the Yamunanagar-Khajuri-Jathlana road construction will cost ₹23.62 crore. Additionally, Narnaul Branch's Krishnavati river recharging project has been allocated ₹41.50 crore.
This comprehensive approval of various projects aims to enhance infrastructure, education, healthcare, and utilities across Haryana, reflecting the government's commitment to regional development.
