BJP Leader Harshvardhan Patil Faces Foul Language, Threats from Ally Partners
Maharashtra BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil has accused functionaries of ally partners in his home turf Indapur of using foul language and threatening him, leading to a political stir in the state.
In a concerning turn of events, Maharashtra BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil has written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, alleging that certain functionaries of ally partners in his home turf of Indapur tehsil, Pune district, have been using foul language against him and threatening to restrict his movement within his former Assembly constituency.

Patil's Concerns
Patil, a former MLA from Indapur who faced defeat in the 2019 state elections by the then-undivided NCP's candidate Datta Bharne, expressed his apprehension in the letter posted on a micro-blogging site. He highlighted that despite the Mahayuti government functioning smoothly under Fadnavis' guidance, he has become a target within his own tehsil by functionaries of ally partners.
Patil asserted that these individuals have been making baseless remarks and using derogatory language against him during political gatherings. Furthermore, he revealed that he has received threats and warnings that he will not be permitted to move freely in his home turf. These circumstances have understandably raised concerns for Patil's safety.
Seeking Intervention
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, Patil urged Deputy CM Fadnavis, who also holds the Home Minister portfolio, to intervene and address the matter promptly. He emphasized the need to rein in these unruly elements and take concrete action to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
It is noteworthy that Patil refrained from naming any specific alliance partner of the BJP or identifying the individuals responsible for these actions in his letter.
The allegations made by Harshvardhan Patil underscore the importance of maintaining harmony and mutual respect among alliance partners within the ruling coalition in Maharashtra. It is crucial for the government to ensure the safety and well-being of all its members and address any concerns or conflicts that may arise to preserve the stability and effectiveness of the Mahayuti alliance.
