Harrowing Flight, Broken Seats: Rs 4.5 Lakh Air India Journey Leaves Passenger Frustrated
Content creator Shreyti Garg took to Instagram to share her disappointing ordeal on an Air India flight from Delhi to Toronto, highlighting what she described as substandard in-flight amenities despite the steep ticket prices.
Accompanied by her two children aged 2.5 years and seven months, Garg documented the troubling situation in a video, exposing non-functional in-flight entertainment and lighting for three seats, plunging her family into both literal and figurative darkness.

"On our Air India Flight from Delhi to Toronto, traveling with our 2 kids (2.5-year-old and 7-month-old), our experience was disheartening. Despite being seated together, almost everything was dysfunctional-broken seats and a lack of entertainment system," Garg conveyed her dismay in the video.
She elaborated on a concerning instance where a defective seat handle posed a potential hazard to her toddler, highlighting exposed wires from the system.
Despite raising these issues with the crew multiple times, Garg claimed that no effective measures were taken.
While the crew attempted to reboot the system, the problems persisted.
Expressing her dissatisfaction directly at Air India in her Instagram post, Garg stated, "@airindia, not only are the ticket prices exorbitant, but instead of ensuring a smooth journey for passengers, especially parents traveling with kids, you've made it incredibly inconvenient."
The post garnered swift attention on social media, with users expressing concern and disappointment over the alleged lack of responsiveness from the airline. Some questioned the justification for the high ticket prices, expecting a higher standard of service and comfort.
As of now, Air India is yet to respond to the situation.
