Hardworking Government employees to be rewarded by Modi Government
New Delhi, Nov 17: With an aim to enhance efficiency and increase healthy competition among Government employees, the Modi Government is planning to emulate the corporate culture of performance-based incentives in its departments.
The Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Finance are planning to introduce incentives including cash to the hardworking employees who achieve the target. According to report in DNA, the incentive plans will especially be introduced in projects like Jan Dhan Yojana and construction of rail over bridges on national highways.

The newly-appointed Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has recently announced a cash prize of Rs five lakh for the officials who will ensure speedy implementation of road over-bridge and road under-bridge on the railway tracks.
According to reports, nearly 21,000 such over bridges, and under-bridges are pending in the country.
Not only this, the department of banking and financial services is also planning to roll out performance-based-incentive. The incentive plan was finalized after the new banking secretary Hasmukh Adhia took over last week.
