'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign: 8 Crore Selfies & Counting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to citizens to take part in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement has met with a stupendous response from netizens.
Till 12 noon, over 8.8 crore selfies have been uploaded by citizens across the country.

The main page of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' website features a button enabling users to submit a selfie alongside the flag. It highlights that a remarkable 8.8 crore selfies with the tricolour were shared by Tuesday noon.
The website is encouraging individuals to proudly raise the flag at their residences during the three-day 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign from August 13 to 15, commemorating the 77th Independence Day.
There are two options on the home page of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' website to upload a selfie with flag and digital Tiranga. Scrolling down, the user will see photos of Union ministers, actors and sportspersons with the Indian flag that included Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former cricketer Parthiv Patel, actor Anupam Kher and singer Kailash Kher among others.
"The Tiranga symbolises the spirit of freedom and national unity. Every Indian has an emotional connect with the Tricolour and it inspires us to work harder to further national progress.
