Hanuman Beniwal Urges Immediate Cancellation of Rajasthan SI Recruitment Exam Amid Paper Leak Allegations

Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has urged Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to annul the 2021 SI recruitment exam. He accuses the BJP government of remaining silent on the paper leak issue since assuming power. Beniwal claims that many trainee sub-inspectors, arrested for involvement, have resumed duties after bail, questioning the government's policies and intentions.

Beniwal Demands Cancellation of SI Exam

The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party leader, without naming individuals, alleged that two ministers and two senior IAS officers are linked to some fraudulently selected SIs. The Special Operations Group (SOG) has detained several people, including 50 trainee sub-inspectors, in connection with the paper leak scandal.

Recruitment Scandal's Impact on Youth

Beniwal highlighted that the paper leak cases jeopardise the future of many young people in Rajasthan. He stated that this issue extends beyond exams, raising serious concerns about the state's administrative system and government sensitivity. Despite evidence from SOG confirming the SI recruitment paper leak and recommending its cancellation, the government remains silent.

He criticised the BJP government for ignoring demands made while in opposition, such as cancelling police sub-inspector recruitment and investigating recruitment scams through the CBI. Beniwal posted on X that despite large-scale evidence of paper leaks in Rajasthan's police sub-inspector recruitment exams, the BJP government has forgotten these demands.

Government's Response Under Scrutiny

Beniwal questioned why recommendations to cancel SI recruitment were opposed by two ministers and senior IAS officers in CMO. He asked if these officials are above the chief minister, suggesting their female friends were fraudulently selected in SI recruitment. The Union Home Ministry has also sought a response from the chief secretary on this matter.

He mentioned writing letters to both the chief minister and Union home minister regarding this issue. Beniwal emphasised that despite SOG's confirmation of the paper leak with evidence, the cabinet sub-committee's recommendation to cancel recruitment remains unaddressed by the government.

This situation reflects a lack of concern from the BJP government towards unemployed youth and their future prospects. The ongoing silence on these recommendations highlights indifference to addressing these critical issues affecting Rajasthan's youth.
