Hamid Ansari greets nation on Id-ul-Fitr

New Delhi, July 28: Vice President M. Hamid Ansari Monday greeted the nation on Id-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

"I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to the citizens of our country on the joyous occasion of Id-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan," Ansari said.

"This festival celebrates the essential unity of mankind and highlights the human values of peaceful co-existence, love and compassion. May this auspicious occasion bless us with peace, prosperity and harmony in our lives," he said.
