Student Looted at Gunpoint in Gurugram, SUV Vandalized

A student in Gurugram was allegedly looted at gunpoint and thrashed by a group of students outside a private university. The accused took cash and a gold chain from the victim and damaged his SUV.

Gurugram, March 9: A shocking incident occurred in Gurugram, where a student at a private university was allegedly looted at gunpoint by a group of fellow students. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon outside the university premises in the Pachgaon area.

Victim's Account

According to the victim's complaint, he was leaving the university after finishing his classes when one of the accused, identified as Jayant, pointed a pistol at him and ordered him to stop his car. Soon after, five other students, including Jatin Chahar and Harsh Sharma, joined Jayant in attacking the victim and vandalizing his SUV.

The victim further stated that the assailants took away his gold chain and approximately Rs. 8,000 from his car. He is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at a hospital in Jhajjar.

Police Action

Following the victim's complaint, an FIR was registered against the accused students under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including causing hurt, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation, causing damage, and common intention. The police are currently investigating the allegations and have assured that appropriate action will be taken according to the law.
