Gurugram Road Rage: Bulky Men, Who Assaulted Biker, Identified With Help Of AI; Watch Viral Video

Gurugram crime: A biker was attacked with sticks and beaten brutally by some drunk bodybuilders near the Dwarka Expressway. According to the reports, the incident happened on Sunday, April 20, during the breakfast ride. The assailants not only assaulted the bikers but also caused significant damage to their vehicles, amounting to several lakhs.

Hardik Sharma, one of the victims, shared his terrifying ordeal. He recounted how the bikers were unexpectedly cornered and attacked. "They hit me with an iron bat. I survived because of my helmet," reported by NDTV. Sharma also mentioned being threatened with a knife and warned against filming the attackers.

AI Tools Aid in Identifying Attackers

In an unexpected twist, Sharma used Artificial Intelligence tools to identify the culprits on social media before police intervention. "We found them on Instagram and gave the police their details. We also showed them the gym where they worked out," he said.

The group was travelling from Ambience Mall to Panchgaon in Manesar when a black Scorpio began driving erratically close to them. "We stopped to let them pass, but they pulled over and got out with glasses in their hands. They were drunk," Sharma recounted.

Police Investigation Underway

The attackers reportedly started hitting one rider and then vandalised bikes valued between Rs 10 to Rs 25 lakh each. Despite providing leads and waiting 12 hours for an FIR registration, no arrests have been made yet according to Sharma.

"The damage to my bike is worth Rs 4 to 5 lakh," victim claimed. Meanwhile, police are reviewing CCTV footage as part of their efforts to catch the suspects involved in this incident.
