Gurugram Police Confirm Simran Singh's Death as Suicide Amidst Fan Disbelief

The Gurugram Police have concluded that the death of popular radio jockey Simran Singh was a suicide. The investigation has been closed as her family did not file any complaint or express suspicion. Despite this, many social media users, claiming to be her fans, have expressed disbelief and suggested foul play on her Instagram page.

Simran Singhs Death Ruled Suicide by Police

Simran Singh, known as Jammu Ki Dhadkan to her followers, had her last Instagram post on December 13. It featured a reel captioned "Just a girl on the beach with endless giggles and her gown." Fans commented on this post, voicing their doubts about the police's conclusion and speculating that she might have been murdered.

Social Media Reactions

One user questioned how someone so strong and successful could commit suicide without leaving any note or video. Another user argued that if she were stressed or mentally troubled, she wouldn't have made reels, suggesting that her behaviour in the video indicated she was fine. They insisted it was murder, not suicide.

Simran Singh's body was discovered hanging in her rented home in Sector 47 on Wednesday night. Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, Singh had worked as an RJ before leaving the job to freelance. She had been residing in Gurugram for approximately two years.

Police Investigation Details

A senior police officer confirmed that the post-mortem report identified hanging as the cause of death, supporting the suicide conclusion. Since no complaint was lodged by Singh's family against anyone, the police found no grounds for further suspicion or investigation.

The Instagram profile of Simran Singh remains filled with comments from followers who are sceptical of the official findings. Many continue to express their disbelief over the circumstances surrounding her death.

The case highlights the impact of social media on public perception and how it can sometimes conflict with official investigations. Despite the closure of the case by authorities, discussions and speculations continue among her online community.
