The Congress party is all set to parade its legislators from Gujarat who are currently lodged at a resort in Bengaluru. The legislators will be brought before the media in an attempt to put to rest speculations of them being held against their will.

Karnataka minister and senior Congress leader D K Shivakumar has been given the responsibility of taking care of the Gujarat Congress legislators. He returned to Bengaluru on Saturday night to take over from his brother and Congress MP D K Suresh. D K Shivakumar told the media that the legislators had come on their own to escape from the BJP's pressure tactics and none was being held captive.
"They have come here because there is too much pressure from the BJP in Gujarat. There are 43 MLAs in total and more will join us. Rumours of the legislators wanting to go back home are false. They are here out of their own will," said D K Shivakumar.
Meanwhile, National Spokesperson of the Congress and MLA from Gujarat Shaktisinh Gohil tweeted that he was in Bengaluru with other MLAs and all were united. "There is no rift among the legislators. We are united and are with the family. We have all come here out of our own will to save democracy False news will be condemned," he said.
