Gujarat elections: Rahul Gandhi to visit PM Modi’s native district, Mehsana

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has begun day 3 of Navsarjan Yatra from Patan in Gujarat. The day began with a visit to Vir Meghmaya Temple in Patan.

The Yatra started from Patan will end at Mahesana. On the final day of the Yatra, Rahul Gandhi will interact with leaders from the SC community.
Rahul Gandhi will proceed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's native district, Mehsana. He is scheduled to address a series of meetings along the way. The region is also the epicentre of Patidar quote agitation.
Rahul Gandhi distributed chocolates among children while greeting people at Kungher village of Patan, reported Parimal Dabhi.
According to reports, Rahul Gandhi even broke through security barricades to meet villagers in Patan district. While talking to the Scheduled Caste leaders, he attacked the RSS and promised to work for the betterment of the backward castes.
