On Wednesday, Gujarat's Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi launched 11 new neonatal ambulances in Gandhinagar. These state-of-the-art vehicles are part of the 108 emergency service. They will be stationed at health centres across Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Junagadh, and Rajkot districts, according to officials.

New Jail Complex in Bhadroda
A significant jail complex is being developed in Bhadroda village at a cost of Rs 158.58 crore. This facility will include a district jail with a capacity for 560 inmates and offer amenities like a library, hospital, and vocational training centre.
The high-security jail within the complex will accommodate 404 inmates and feature a video courtroom and study centre. An Open Jail with space for 120 inmates will provide special facilities such as a cultural hall, auditorium, and cow shed.
The initiatives launched by Sanghavi aim to enhance emergency services and improve infrastructure for law enforcement personnel in Gujarat. These projects reflect the state's commitment to modernising facilities for both public safety and police welfare.
