Gujarat Class 10, 12 Exam Results 2025: GSEB SSC, HSC Exam Results To Be Declared In May
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) successfully conducted Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2025 between February 27 and March 17.
A total of 8,92,882 candidates had enrolled for the Class 10 exam, while 5.35 lakh had registered for Class 12 (including both general and science streams), this year. A total of 14.28 lakh students are awaiting the results in 2025.

How Many Students Took SSC and HSC Exams In Gujarat?
While 4,23,909 students appeared for the Class 12 general stream and 1,11,384 for the science stream. To facilitate smooth conduct, the board has designated 989 examination centers for Class 10 and 672 for Class 12, spread across 87 and 59 supervision zones, respectively.
The exams wee held in 3,203 buildings with 31,397 blocks for Class 10, while Class 12 science students had taken their exams in 554 buildings (5,680 blocks) and general stream students in 1,465 buildings (13,914 blocks).
Strict Anti-Cheating Measures
In a bid to ensure transparency, the board has prohibited mobile phones and electronic gadgets inside exam halls. All centers will be under CCTV surveillance, and a real-time tracking application will monitor the secure movement of question papers to prevent leaks. Authorities had also warned against fake social media claims regarding paper leaks, urging students and parents to rely only on official updates.
Practical Exams and Expected Results
The Class 12 practical examinations were conducted from February 6 to 14. The board is expected to announce both class 10 and 12 results in the second week of May. However, the exact date is yet to be revealed by the authorities.
Last year, 82.56% of Class 10 students cleared the exams, with girls outperforming boys-86.69% pass rate compared to 79.12%. In Class 12, the overall pass percentage stood at 82.45%, with the general stream achieving 91.93% and the science stream at 82.45%. Notably, 127 schools secured a 100% pass rate, a significant rise from just 27 schools in 2023.
