Gujarat: 6 Killed, Many Injured As Truck Rams Into Stationary Bus On Expressway Near Anand
A tragic accident occurred early Monday morning on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway near Anand town in Gujarat, resulting in the death of six people and injuries to many others.
According to police reports, the incident took place around 4:30 am near Chikhodra village.

A private bus, en route to Ahmedabad, had pulled over to the roadside after experiencing a tyre burst.
While the tyre was being changed, the bus passengers alighted and some were waiting in front of the vehicle. At this moment, a speeding truck collided with the bus from behind.

Five individuals died on the spot, and one more succumbed to injuries at a hospital.
Among the deceased was the bus driver.
The fatalities included three women and three men, who have yet to be identified.
The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
