GST intelligence agency raids Tamil actor Vishal

A team of the Intelligence Agency of the GST conducted raids at the office of the Vishal Film Factory, the production house owned by actor and President of Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council Vishal.

The raid took place at the premises of the Vadapalani office of the production house at around 2 pm. At first it was said that it was a raid by the Income Tax department, but the same was denied later.

The raids were conducted to find out if there was any evasion of the GST amount paid. Following the raids, all necessary documents were produced. The GST intelligence agency was formed to find out if there was any evasion of the Goods and Services Tax.
