Pakistani woman, wife of 'Salman Khan' arrested in India

Jalandhar, July 30: A woman, who was coming from Pakistan in Samjhauta Express, was arrested on Thursday night from Jalandhar railway station for allegedly travelling without a passport, Government Railway Police said.

GRP officials said that Chanda, whose husband's name is Salman Khan and resides in Karachi in Pakistan, had boarded the train from Atari border.

Since she had boarded the train from Atari, she had been handed over to Atari Police, they added.

Police has been on high alert since the Gurdaspur terror attack earlier this week where terrorists attacked a police station.
