Grenadier Deepak Kumar of Indian Army summits Russia's Mount Elbrus
Grenadier Deepak Kumar of Indian Army has made it to the summit of one of the world's most deadly mountains.
He summitted Russia's Mount Elbrus which is 5642 m high on July 7. Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain in Russia and in Europe, and the tenth most prominent peak in the world.

Indian Army's Eastern Command in a tweet said that Grenadier Deepak Kumar of Indian Army made nation proud by summiting Mt Elbrus(5642m) Russia.
Mt. Elbrus is situated between the Black and the Caspian sea on territory of the Russian Federation, only 20 km from the Georgian border. Mount Elbrus is a dormant volcano. The last explosion occured about 2000 years ago.
