Govt employee suspended for campaigning for BJP

, April 4: An accountant posted with the Rural Engineering Services (RES) department was suspended by District Returning Officer in Indore on Thursday for allegedly campaigning in favour of the ruling

, official sources said.

RES department accountant Vinod Jai has openly campaigned for the BJP after which District Returning Officer and Indore Collector Akash Tripathi suspended him, official sources said.

During the suspension period, he will be attached to the District Electoral Office, sources said.
