Govt can look into 'any shortcomings' in OROP: Rajnath Singh
Pune, Sept 5: As the ex-servicemen refused to end their stir despite an announcement on OROP, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said if there is any shortcoming the government may look into it.
"If there is any shortcoming, we may look into it," he said addressing an interactive session with various professionals here. Singh's remarks came when an ex-service man brought to his notice that the issues of those former soldiers who took VRS were not addressed by the One Rank One

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar announced in New Delhi that the government has decided to implement OROP under which there would be revision of pension every five years as against two years demanded by the ex-servicemen.
