Government trying its best to get GST Bill passed: MoS Finance

Bikaner, July 31 Union Minister of State for Finance Arjun Ram Meghwal today said the government is trying its best to get GST Bill passed to make double digit growth possible in the country.

Speaking at a programme here, Meghwal said states like Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh have come in favour of GST and if the GST is implemented, double digit growth rate would be possible in the country.

He said handloom and handicraft industry stakeholders should also submit their suggestions and proposals with regard to the bill.

He also invited a delegation of businessman from Bikaner to Delhi to hold discussions on the GST Bill on August 8.
