Government launches webpage for Independence-Day

New Delhi, Aug 10 Minister for Information and Broadcasting M. Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday launched a special webpage based on Independence Day.

"The webpage will host live webcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day Speech from the Red Fort," a government statement said.

It is designed to showcase all the events related to the festivities being celebrated throughout the country and the webpage can be accessed from pib.nic.in.

The webpage showcases hundreds of archival photographs, audio and video clips, write-ups and features on leaders and events related to the freedom struggle.
