Government Brings Online Gaming and Advertising Under I&B Ministry
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is all set to get the power of guiding Online gaming content and advertising issued on Monday, reported.
As per a Government Amendment (Allocation of Business) Rules, the subjects of Films and Audio-Visual programs/content made available by online content providers/publishers and online advertisements have been allocated to the I&B Ministry, PTI reported.

According to the Hindustan Time Report, President Draupadi Murmu issued a gazette notification said that films and Audio-Visual programs/content made available by online content providers/publishers would be taken under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
It has been taken in the Second Schedule of Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
