New Delhi, Mar 7: In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a Samajwadi Party MLA's brothers allegedly shot at and killed a man for overtaking his vehicle. The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Balrampur.

As per reports, MLA Jagram Paswan's brother shot dead the man and fled from the spot.

According to a CNN-IBN report, "His brothers Annu Paswan and Sadhu Paswan fled from the spot after shooting at the man. The incident took place while the victim identified as Jairam Yadav was returning after attending a marriage at Tariyapurwa village under the Dhanepur police station of Balrampur."

A case of murder has been registered against them by the Uttar Pradesh police.

In Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party is in power and Assembly elections will take place in 2017.
